As the country continues to mourn the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II we have now received confirmation that the state funeral will be taking place on Monday 12^th September and that this has been declared a national Bank Holiday.  As a result, the Academy will be closed on that day which will provide an opportunity for parents and children to go into London to see the funeral should they wish to do so.  As we pay our respects to the longest reigning Monarch ever to have served the people of Britain, we also welcome a new era, that of King Charles III.  I am sure that you will join me in wishing him all the best in his new role as our Sovereign.
