Welcome to the homepage of the Alec Reed Academy Community Sports Centre. Throughout the Sports Centre we believe that motivation is enhanced by positive relationships. This is a great benefit that emerges from the energy we commit to enhancing community life and well-being.

Our aim is to provide a safe, balanced, secure and enjoyable environment in which everyone can reach and exceed individual and team objectives. In striving for this goal, we actively encourage everyone to understand and support others in their sporting and recreational pursuits.

We work closely with national governing bodies, local government, clubs, organisations and all of our customers to ensure that we are delivering and providing the best possible customer service and sporting facilities. The Community Sports Centre has been open since August 2006 and in that time has continued to develop its services to maximise the benefit of our state of the art facilities to the local community and extended areas. The ARA Sports Centre continually assesses it's service provision and focusses primarily on health & safety, child protection, cleanliness and customer service standards at all levels. We have numerous facilities on offer that are available to hire during our opening hours including:

• Multi-use sports hall
• Gymnasium with Climbing Wall
• Dance Studio
• Floodlit Artificial Training Pitch
• Multi-use Games area
• Classrooms equipped with ICT
• State of the art 187 seat Theatre (details of hire available upon application)
