Vietnam 2026 Day One
Yesterday marked an unforgettable start to our Year 12 Vietnam 2026, students began their journey by delving into the country's complex and powerful history. Their first stop was the famous Cu Chi tunnels, where they learned how the underground network was used during the Vietnam War. Crawling through sections of the tunnels and seeing the living conditions firsthand gave students a vivid sense of the resilience and resourcefulness of the Vietnamese people.
The group then visited the War Remnants Museum, where they explored exhibitions documenting the human impact of the conflict. The visit sparked thoughtful conversations among students and staff, offering a deeper understanding of the war's legacy and its significance in shaping modern Vietnam. It was a moving and eye opening experience for everyone involved.
To add a touch of celebration to the day, our students joined by Mr Raja and Ms Colgan embraced St Patrick's Day by dressing in green, bringing a bit of festive spirit to their cultural exploration. A huge well done to our Year 12 students for representing the Sixth Form with maturity, curiosity, and enthusiasm as they embark on this incredible learning adventure.
