We are proud to be an all-through Academy, serving students aged 3-19. Our dedicated team of teaching and associate staff, combined with excellent facilities, creates a supportive learning environment where students thrive and grow on their journey toward adulthood and employability. Our connection with the Reed family and the REED employment agency provides additional benefits, offering our students enhanced opportunities for career pathways, giving them a distinct advantage compared to other local schools.

At our academy, we are passionate about learning. We aim for our students to succeed by harnessing their individual talents and abilities while supporting them in discovering new strengths. While academic outcomes are important, we also emphasise a holistic approach to education. Central to our mission are high expectations, resilience, and self-discipline, all of which prepare our students for life beyond the academy. Our state-of-the-art facilities, funded through extensive capital investment, are the envy of many schools. The Foster-designed building, which must be seen to be fully appreciated, features spacious, well-lit corridors with excellent skylines that help foster positive behaviour and reduce bullying. Our extensive sports facilities, including a recently upgraded fitness suite and a climbing wall, are enjoyed by both students and staff and are also available to the local community in the evenings.

The academy is fortunate to own "Academy Fields"—a large, fertile plot of land ideal for outdoor learning. This incredible resource has been developed with a generous charitable contribution from our sponsor, Sir Alec Reed.
