As a school community we mourn the death of her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.  Her dynasty has lasted for over 70 years, during which she has been the rock of modern Britain.  Her devotion to duty, throughout her reign, has been inspirational.  Her wisdom and experience have enabled us to become a modern, thriving, dynamic country and enabled Britain and the Commonwealth to flourish.  We expect there to be confirmation of a day of mourning, which may align with the state funeral.  In the meantime, the academy will be open as normal tomorrow with activities to remember the longest reigning monarch ever to have served the people of Britain.
