Covid-19 Update
In accordance with government guidelines, the academy remains closed to the majority of its children and young people. However, in line with recent government guidelines from the 15th June, the academy embarked upon a cautious, phased return for nursery, reception, year 1, year 6, year 10 and year 12 students. We are very pleased with how this has gone so far and thank you for your support. The academy continues to open for the children of key workers and those who are deemed to be more vulnerable.
Should your child be in these groups, you will have been written to separately to let you know the plan for your child. In order to ensure social distancing measures and positive COVID-19 hygiene practices are in place, your child will not initially attend the academy on a daily basis but may be invited to attend for part of a day or part of a week. This will be confirmed to you in writing as well as the COVID- safe procedures that your child will need to follow when they return.
The academy is committed to a safe reopening in order to protect its children, young people, staff and the wider community. All other children and young people will continue to be set online learning tasks until further notice.
